Hello! I’m Emily — a Mental Health Accredited Social Worker and Kinesiologist. I have over 10 years experience supporting young people and adults across a range of settings, including secondary schools, government and non-government organisations, and private practice. I’ve supported clients in the areas of mental health, family violence, trauma, relationships and emotional stress.
Over time, I began to notice that even with the support of talk therapy, many clients continued to carry emotional pain and tension in their bodies, preventing them from fully moving forward. They had unspoken layers that needed a different kind of support to fully release and process their experiences.
This realisation inspired me to study Kinesiology — a gentle, holistic modality that releases emotions, beliefs and patterns stored deep within our subconscious mind and body. I am deeply passionate about Kinesiology as I have experienced the profound impacts it has had on my own wellbeing as well as that of my clients. This has led me to expand my services to offer a range of evidence-based interventions in my counselling practice, alongside offering Kinesiology sessions to support the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health of each client at a deeper level.
I’d like to introduce you to Maggie, my incredible gentle-hearted companion. Maggie isn’t just a dog—she’s a quiet healer and a source of comfort for those who need it most. She loves to attend counselling and kinesiology sessions when invited.
